There are three main types
of eating disorders that many people struggle with: Anorexia Nervosa, Exercise Nervosa, and Bulimia.
These disorders typically originate from a desire for control and low self-esteem or self-worth. Individuals dealing with eating disorders often believe that their happiness hinges on being "thin." They think that if they can just shed a few pounds or inches, they will finally find happiness and success.
Regrettably, no matter how much weight they lose, that sense of contentment they seek never seems to materialize.

Feeling self-conscious
Feeling self-conscious can be really tough. It's like having a constant negative voice in your head, telling you that you're not beautiful, you'll never fit in, everyone's judging you, and nothing you do is good enough. Even when you take that important step of acknowledging you have a problem and realizing that many of your long-held beliefs about yourself aren't true, it can still be really challenging to break those habits.
